On June 15, 2023, Li Hua, president of Asian Packaging Federation, attended the " the 8th Asian Packaging Federation Strategic Planning Meeting " held in Bangkok, Thailand. This meeting was organized by the secretariat of the Asian Packaging Federation, and participants included China Packaging Federation, Packaging Institute of Philippines, Packaging Industry Association of India, Ministry of Industrial Development of Thailand, Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research, the Thai Packaging Federation, Turkish Packaging Manufacturers Association, Indonesian Packaging Federation, Korean Packaging Association, Japan Packaging Institute, Singapore Packaging Institution, the world packaging center group and other representatives from various countries.

Li Hua gave an opening speech. He thanked the Asian members for their unremitting efforts for Asian Packaging Federation in the past years, and suggested that members should explore the in-depth cooperation between member states according to their national conditions and industry development demands. For example, under the background of the government, Korean Packaging Association and Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research(TISTR) can strive for more government resources to support transformation and upgrading of technological packaging industry. China Packaging Federation will spare no effort in promoting and supporting the work of Asian Packaging Federation, promoting Chinese packaging enterprises and universities to seek opportunities and explore cooperation on the Asian stage.

At the same time, Li Hua attended ProPak Asia Opening Ceremony and the Asia Packaging Seminar, and delivered a speech at the Asia Packaging Seminar.

Li Hua said that the experience of sustainable development of each related country shared by the speakers, especially the overview, laws and regulations, requirements, applications and demonstration cases in the food and packaging industry, will help everyone think about how Asia can better integrate into the process of sustainable development in the world.

As the President of Asian Packaging Federation and the President of China Packaging Federation, Li Hua pointed out that he will actively exert the bridge hub and resource integration capabilities of Asian Packaging Federation. Through the booming Chinese packaging market, he will work together with the packaging industries of various countries and regions in the Asia Pacific region to promote the packaging industry towards green and sustainable development, and jointly create a better future!
