From June 11 to 16, 2023, during the 8th Asian Packaging Federation Strategic Planning Meeting, the Asia Packaging Seminar, and ProPak Asia, Li Hua, President of Asian Packaging Federation and Co President of China Packaging Federation, visited Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, the Thailand’s Food king Euro Food and other institutions.

On June 12th, Li Hua and his delegation met with Lin Chuqin, President of Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and king of the Thailand's salt industry in Bangkok. The two sides exchanged views on the friendship between China and Thailand, development opportunities of the packaging industry, business cooperation, technical cooperation, and cultural exchanges.

Lin Chuqin expressed a warm welcome to Li Hua and his delegation who came a long way. He said that Thailand is the economic center of Southeast Asia and Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce has been established for 113 years. For many years, it has played a role in promoting the establishment of long-term friendship between China and Thailand and providing more investment and development opportunities for overseas Chinese. The packaging industry plays an important role in the modern industrial system. China's packaging industry is developing rapidly, and China Packaging Federation plays an important role in the international. The work carried out by the Federation also enjoys a high reputation. The General Chamber of Commerce is willing to strengthen contact with China Packaging Federation and jointly build a bridge for cooperation in the packaging industry between the two countries.

Li Hua expressed sincere gratitude to Lin Chuqin for his careful arrangement. He introduced the development status of China's packaging industry and the construction process of China Packaging Federation. In recent years, the international situation has changed greatly and China has continuously exported positive energy to the world through the Belt and Road. Thailand has also left a good impression on China, and many Chinese packaging enterprises have also taken root and blossomed in Thailand.

Li Hua pointed out that the current packaging industry in China is facing demands for overseas layout and export transfer to other Asian countries. Thailand plays an important role in the overseas structure of the Chinese economy. He hopes that China Packaging Federation and Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce can establish long-term exchanges, build communication and cooperation bridges, and provide suitable inspection, learning, exchange, and investment opportunities for enterprises in need.

Business representatives from both sides held in-depth discussions about the packaging market and customer resources, the food and fruit industry chain market, the investment environment and industrial parks in Thailand, and the modernization process of Thailand's industry.

Li Guixiong, Vice President of Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Jiang Yingchu, Xiao Hanming, Deputy-Secretary General, and Chen Yunjin, Assistant-Secretary General and President of European Food, attended the meeting.

On June 13, Li Hua led a team to visit the king of Thailand’s food,  European Food (Public) Co., LTD., to meet President Chen Yunjin, and to investigate the investment environment of Thailand Jindi Industrial Park.

Euro food, founded by Chen Jinghui, is an outstanding overseas Chinese enterprise in Thailand, occupying most of the market for various snacks such as chocolate biscuits, cakes, egg yolk pies, jelly, and shakers. The Chan family's businesses spread throughout Southeast Asia and the Greater Bay Area of China.

Lian Yunzeng, Chairman of China Aluminum Cans Holdings Limited, is also an outstanding descendant of the Chen family. Euro Asia Packaging (Guang Dong) Co. Limited is the executive unit of China Packaging Federation.

Li Hua visited the production line of Euro food chocolate cookies, cakes, egg yolk pies, and jelly shakers, inspected Thailand's Jindi Industrial Park, and learned about Thailand's investment environment and conditions.

This visit was successful and laid a good foundation for the sustainable development and cooperation of the packaging industry between China and Thailand.
